No doubt you will all have seen the appalling proposal that the Coogee bay Hotel has put up for a high rise/mall style development as the price fcor not inflicting more drinking areas on us. I live within 1 kilometre of the site but was not surveyed. If I had been I would have told then that given a choice of an anonymous, mediocre high rise or more drinking area, I'd rather have the drinking area as at least there is some hope of controlling that. Coogee is already grossly overdeveloped. Do we really need more of the sort of development that has ruined other beach suburbs? tell the Council no way.

I think we all really need to get stuck in over this or we'll lose what little amenity there is left.
